In 2019, Shutts Tree Service was purchased by Rocco Massaro, owner of Arborist Tree Care Services in Tolland, CT. This has allowed us to expand and provide top quality, professional tree care in other parts of the state while continuing to operate as usual in New Haven County.
We pride ourselves on being a small, local operated company.
Rocco Massaro
Rocco has been working in the arboricultural industry for almost twenty-five years as a licensed arborist, climber, and instructor. In addition to being a Certified Treecare Safety Professional, the only credentialing program in the country, Rocco has instructed extensively throughout the United States and abroad on topics including aerial rescue, chainsaw safety and handling, climbing, felling, and rigging. A most memorable training for Rocco was instructing aerial rescue for paratroopers in Virginia. Rocco's engaging teaching style and passion for making the tree care industry as safe as possible consistently earn him high reviews. As a tree service provider, you can count on Rocco to be honest, fair, professional, and above all safe.
